Welcome Home: Our New All Together Therapy Clinic
When we first dreamed about creating a permanent home for All Together Therapy, we knew we wanted something different.
We didn't want a clinical space that felt cold, overwhelming or intimidating. We wanted a space where children and families could walk through the door and feel welcomed, comfortable and safe. A place that felt more like a home than a health service.
After years of planning, designing and dreaming, we were incredibly excited to open the doors to our purpose-built clinic.
Every part of the space has been thoughtfully designed with children, families and therapists in mind. We know that every child is different, and so are their sensory, communication and regulation needs. Our clinic includes flexible therapy spaces that can be adapted to suit each child, whether they need movement, quiet, connection, play, or a calm space to recharge.
One of the things we are most proud of is bringing specialised therapy equipment to our regional community that would traditionally only be available in larger metropolitan centres. Families in the Hastings region shouldn't have to travel hours to access high-quality therapy supports.
Our clinic includes state-of-the-art equipment designed to support children with a wide range of developmental, physical and neurological needs, including our Spider Cage system. This specialised therapy equipment allows children to safely explore movement, build strength, develop confidence and participate in activities that may otherwise be difficult to achieve.
We have also carefully considered the visual environment throughout the clinic. The high-contrast wall art not only creates a welcoming and engaging space but also supports children with cortical vision impairment (CVI) by providing visual features that are easier to access and interpret. At the same time, we have worked hard to create an environment that feels calm and regulated rather than overstimulating.
Most importantly, our clinic has been designed to support relationships. It is a place where children can learn through play, where families can feel heard and supported, and where our team can work together to help every child reach their potential. Including a bit of outdoor fun in our sandpit, trampoline and jungle gym.
This clinic is much more than a building. It represents our commitment to providing high-quality, family-centred therapy right here in our local community.
