Hastings Kids NEST

  • Helping children participate in everyday activities that matter to them. We support sensory processing, regulation, play, fine motor skills, self-care, emotional wellbeing, school readiness and independence.

  • Supporting communication, language, literacy, speech sounds, social connection, feeding and AAC. We work alongside families to help children communicate in ways that feel meaningful and authentic.

  • Helping children build strength, coordination, confidence and movement skills. We support gross motor development, physical disabilities, neurological conditions and participation in everyday activities.

  • Providing practical support around nutrition, growth, feeding challenges, food variety and family mealtimes. Our focus is on realistic strategies that work within everyday family life.

  • Extending therapy goals into everyday practice opportunities. AHAs work under the guidance of therapists to provide additional support, repetition and skill development.

Our Supports & Services

How Supports Can Look

  • Ongoing therapy sessions delivered at a pace that suits your child and family. With targeted goals, in a location that works for you.

  • Focused periods of therapy designed around specific goals, followed by opportunities to practise and consolidate skills. These are typically half or full term blocks.

  • More frequent therapy over a shorter period to accelerate learning, build confidence and achieve targeted goals. Perfect in school holidays to achieve a goal like riding a bike.

  • Supporting parents and caregivers with practical strategies, education and confidence to help children thrive in everyday life. We integrate coaching into all of our supports. However, offer stand alone parent coaching to address particular goals.

  • Sometimes families just need a quick check in with some recommendations or reassurance. We are hear to listen and support you in the way that feels right.

For others we will work alongside educators, support teams, medical professionals and community services to create consistent support across environments. Some times you just need all of the people supporting you to work together and help develop a clear plan to help your child and family.

  • Opportunities to learn, connect and participate alongside peers while developing skills in meaningful, real-world settings. From baby massage groups, to sensory explorers or mini movers. We have opportunities to support children to be part of something meaningful.

  • Children don’t come with a handbook and over the past few decades our views on neurodiversity, development and parenting have changed. There is a lot to take in as a parent and families find it hard to know where to start. Our education sessions are customised to meet the needs of the community we support and are casual, welcoming and practical. Watch our Facebook page for upcoming parent education opportunities.

Finding the Right Support for Your Family

You don't need to have all the answers before reaching out.

Every child's journey is different, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Whether you have a new concern, are seeking support following a diagnosis, or simply want guidance about your child's development, our team is here to help.

We take the time to understand your child's strengths, your family's priorities and what matters most to you. Together, we can explore the support options available and develop a plan that feels right for your family.

At All Together Therapy, support may include assessment, individual therapy, parent coaching, intensive programs, consultation with educators, group programs or early intervention through Hastings Kids NEST. Our flexible approach means we can adapt support as your child's needs change over time.

Not sure where to start? That's okay. Start with a conversation.

  • No. Families can contact us directly and self-refer. We also welcome referrals from GPs, paediatricians, educators and other health professionals.

Sometimes a GP or Paediatrician referral may give a child access to medicare rebates, however this is not required for access.

  • Absolutely. A diagnosis is not required to access our services. Many families seek support because they have questions or concerns about their child's development, participation or wellbeing.

  • We support families accessing services through:

    • NDIS

    • Medicare referrals

    • Private health insurance

    • Private funding

Our team can help you understand which options may be available to your family.

  • You don't need to work that out before contacting us. We can discuss your concerns and help determine which service, therapist or combination of supports may be most helpful.

  • There is no one-size-fits-all answer. Some children benefit from regular therapy, while others may be best suited to therapy blocks, intensive programs, parent coaching or consultation sessions. We will work with you to develop a plan that matches your child's goals and your family's capacity.

  • Yes. Depending on your child's goals and support needs, therapy can occur in the clinic, home, preschool, school, community settings or via telehealth.

  • Parent coaching focuses on supporting the people who know your child best. Sessions provide practical strategies, information and confidence to help embed learning and development into everyday routines.

  • Trust your instincts. If something doesn't feel quite right, or you would simply like guidance, we encourage you to reach out. Early conversations can provide reassurance, practical strategies and support to help you decide on the next steps.

  • Hastings Kids NEST (Notice Early, Support Together) is our early developmental screening and support program for young children and families. It helps families access guidance, resources and pathways to support sooner.

NEST is a free program running in 2026 thanks to grant funding secured through Healthy North Coast.

  • At All Together Therapy, we believe every child is unique. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach, we tailor supports to each child's strengths, goals, interests and everyday environments.

Our approach is child-led, family-centred, neuro-affirming and relationship-based. We focus on supporting participation, confidence and meaningful outcomes in everyday life while working closely with families, educators and support networks.

Our highly experienced team has undertaken extensive additional training across a wide range of therapeutic approaches and intervention frameworks, including:

Our clinicians use their knowledge, experience and clinical reasoning to determine which strategies are most appropriate for each child and family. We don't fit children into a particular therapy model. Instead, we draw on a range of evidence-informed approaches to create supports that are meaningful, practical and individualised.

  • We support children with developmental concerns, delays and differences.

We also support disabled children and their families.

We support individuals with physical disabilities throughout the lifespan.

We support individuals with a wide range of disabilities including

    • Cerebral Palsy

    • Neuromuscular Conditions

    • Genetic Conditions & Syndromes

    • Autism, ADHD & Other Neurodivergent profiles

    • Down Syndrome

    • Intellectual & Learning Disabilities

    • and anyone that would benefit from Allied Health supports to enhance function and wellbeing.

  • Predominantly we are a Paediatric practice focusing on babies, infants and young children. However we do support children as they get older, unless we feel there are other local services with more appropriate experience to support the individual.

We do however commonly continue to support people with Physical Disabilities throughout the lifespan as our team has experience and expertise in relation to movement disorders and assistive technology.
